The Kingdom is an independent country in western Asia, comprising 33 islands on the western side of the Arabian Gulf, it is also the smallest Arab nation in the entire Middle East. The main Island, also called Bahrain, lies 24 km east of Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom has a full heritage, which is well preserved, and guests can visit the fantastic museums and forts.

Bahrain is served by around 40 international airlines. Gulf Air, the national carrier, has the biggest regional network and flies from over 40 international destinations. The airport offers connections to over 70 destinations around the world with a handling capacity of 10 million passengers a year. Bahrain is also directly connected to Saudi Arabia via a 25km long causeway.
